EMAN donates borehole to Ebira Central Mosque

El-birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) on 6th October, 2023 (21 Rabiul Awwal 1445AH) donated a borehole to Ebira Central Mosque, located in Okene.
The National Ameer of the Islamic organization, Arc. Abdulyekeen Mamman during the donation said, the organization has series of programmes and projects to be executed in Kogi state. He explained that the provision of the water facility stands not only as a testament to the dedication of the organization, but also as a symbol of its unwaivering commitments to Islamic and human services.
Arc. Mamman noted, "water is an essential aspect of human lives, noting that It sustains life and cleanses the body."

The Ameer also posited that water as a basic necessity should be readily accessible to everyone regardless of their religious affiliation or social status.
He expresses deep gratitude to the Chief Imam Of Ebira Central Mosque, Sheikh Salihu Abere for granting the request of the organization to a sink a borehole in the foremost jummat mosque in Ebiraland for the benefit of people, both the muslims and the people of other faiths.

Arc. Mamman said, "today as we donate the water facility, let us not only celebrate this achievement but also recommit ourselves to the values of unity, compassion and service to humanity."

"Giving Water is Sadaqah Jariya (voluntary charity). Saeed Ibn Ubaidah said, "I said to the messenger of Allah, my mother died". Shall I give charity on her behalf? The prophet said Yes', I asked which charity is best? The prophet said, give people water."

In his response, the Chief Imam expressed his profound joy and gratitude to the organization for their generous support to the muslims in the area and prayed God reward them.
