His Royal Highness, Mallam Abdulkareem Atta Yusuf, the Ohi of Okengwe Ehi today had discussion with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to chart way forward to promote peaceful coexistence and unity among the various religious communities in the area.
The meeting which was aimed at fostering understanding and collaboration between religions, also seeked to discourage religious intolerance and promote harmony in the community.
The Ohi emphasized the importance of mutual respect and tolerance among all religious groups and encourages dialogue and cooperation to address common challenges to build a more inclusive and united society.
The Okengwe Zonal CAN president, Pastor Philip Sunday, others including Bishop Joel Ejinwon, Rev. Dr. Moses Omeiza thanked the Ohi's efforts to promote interfaith harmony and pledge their support for initiatives that promote peace and unity in the community.
