Kogi State Specialist Hospital Acting CMD Felicitates with Gov. Ododo, Muslim Ummah on Eid-El-Fitr

The Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Dr. Oluseyi Bamidele Folagbade, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Dr. Folagbade congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, commending his dedication to good governance and his commitment to the well-being of the people of Kogi State. He noted that Eid-El-Fitr is a time of gratitude, spiritual renewal, and reflection on the values of compassion, generosity, and unity, which Governor Ododo has consistently demonstrated through his inclusive leadership and pro-people policies.


He acknowledged the Governor’s unwavering efforts in ensuring prompt payment of workers' salaries and fostering an enabling environment for improved healthcare services. Dr. Folagbade assured the Governor of the hospital’s continued commitment to delivering quality healthcare services in line with his vision for a healthier and more prosperous Kogi State.

The Acting CMD urged the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion to pray for peace, development, and the progress of Kogi State and Nigeria at large. He commended Muslim staff of the hospital for their dedication to prayers, fasting, and spiritual activities during Ramadan, including Tafsir sessions and communal Iftar gatherings.

As the celebrations unfold, he called on the people of Kogi State to embrace the virtues of patience, generosity, and kindness that define Eid-El-Fitr. He prayed for divine blessings, guidance, and continued prosperity for Governor Ododo, his administration, and the entire state, urging all to uphold the values of love and togetherness in their daily lives.
