Kabiru Onimisi Atta is a distinguished Nigerian technocrat, philanthropist, and politician. Born on July 19th in Oziokutu community, Ogaminana Adavi Local Govt Area of Kogi State, Kabiru has risen through the ranks to become a leading voice in his community.
Education
Hon. Kabiru began his educational journey at Renny Nursery & Primary School in Inoziomi, Adavi LGA. He then attended Nigeria Military School Zaria for his secondary education, later completing it at Loral Secondary School in Igbesa, Ogun State.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management from the University of Hull, England, and advanced degrees from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, and the University of Salford, Manchester, England. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Engineering Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence at The George Washington University, DC, United States.
Career
The uncommon technocrat with over 23 years of experience in the information technology and cybersecurity industry, has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Dell Inc., IDT Telecoms,Microsoft Inc. and KPMG.
Politics and Public Service
Kabiru's foray into politics began in 2010 when he contested for the Federal House of Representatives Adavi/Okehi federal constituency at the PDP primaries. He later joined the Labour Party in 2011 and became the candidate for the 2015 Kogi Central Senatorial election and in the rerun 2016.
After a brief hiatus from politics, Kabiru is now poised to represent Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Philanthropy and Community Service
Kabiru is the founder of the Project Second Chance Foundation, a charity focused on economic empowerment, medical assistance, and educational support. He has dedicated his life to community service, making a positive impact on his community. Recently the foundation moved around Kogi central distributing Ramadan welfare and relief packages to people to cushion the effects of poverty and help the less privileges through hard times.

Personal Life
Hon. Kabiru is married to his sweet heart Ozavize Atta and the marriage is blessed with three wonderful and amazing children: Simisi, Itopa, and Adinoyi.
