The Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has extended warm felicitations to muslims across the state as they begin the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, the State Chairman of the NYCN, Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale acknowledged the importance of Ramadan as a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection, emphasizing its values of self-discipline, compassion, and unity.
The Council encouraged young people to use the sacred month to deepen their spiritual devotion and commitment to community service.
The NYCN also called on Kogi youths to embrace the spirit of tolerance, mutual respect, and unity during Ramadan.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to fostering harmony and peaceful coexistence among all religious groups in the state.
In line with the essence of giving and charity during Ramadan, Comr. Benjamin encouraged young people to engage in acts of kindness, including feeding the less privileged, supporting community initiatives, and promoting peace in their various communities.
The NYCN Chair wished all muslims a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan, praying for the well-being, prosperity, and progress of the State.
