Kogi State Accountant-General Felicitates Water Commissioner on Birthday Anniversary
Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko has congratulated the State Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Yahaya M.D Farouk on the occasion of his birthday.
The Accountant-General described the Water Commissioner as a peace-builder and development expert, who has so far made a huge impact in the lives of Kogites through his dedicated service to the state as Commissioner.
According to her, the Commissioner, Engr. Yahaya M D Farouk has aligned perfectly with the Kogi State government initiatives to improve access to portable water and sanitation.
She said, "Kogi State Government under His Excellency , Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is aware that water is essential to human life, and therefore appointed an effective hand in the person of Engr. Yahaya M.D Farouk to cordinate the affairs of the Ministry".
While reiterating that the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo was committed to providing adequate potable water supply to improve sanitation and hygiene, especially in the rural areas of the state, she charged the people of the state to maintain water facilities in their domains.
The Accountant-General prayed, God bless the Commissioner with strength and wisdom, to perform well to the admiration of the people of Kogi State.
