
The Kogi State chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has congratulated Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo on the renewal of his appointment for a second term of four years, as the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
While describing Prof Ogbo as a square peg in a square hole, Comr. Jeremiah expressed confidence that Prof. Ogbo would ensure that the college improves in line with governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s transformation agenda, with emphasis on access to quality education; conducive learning environment, good staff welfare and zero tolerance to cultism.
Comr. Jeremiah said the innovative leadership of the Rector for the past four years in the academy has been remarkable.
According to him, Prof Ogbo's tenure brought about sustainable infrastructure and academic development in the institution.
He further commended the executive governor of Kogi State, governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for recognizing and rewarding hard works in the state.
While praying God continue to bless Prof. Usman Ogbo with the required wisdom to drive the vision of the institution, he reiterated that the NYCN will continue to support the youths of the state by organizing programs that will add value to their lives.
