FAWWASS welcomes Kogi Pilgrims from Jerusalem, Pledges more support for Ododo's govt

Fair Win Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) on Wednesday, congratulated Kogi Pilgrims who just returned from the holy city of Jerusalem, where they had gone to perform spiritual exercise.

The socio-political group also pledged continuous support for the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State.

In a congratulatory message made available to news men, the President of the group, Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu thanked the Accountant-General for always bringing succour to the members of the group.

She posited that the women in the State have benefitted tremendously from the APC led administration under governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

According to her, the Accountant General, has been facilitating some interventions for women across the 21 local government areas of the state, complementing governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's giant stride in the welfare of Kogi citizens.

She charged the Pilgrims to continue to pray for the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Also in a telephone conversation, the Kogi State Accountant-General commended the pilgrims for their good behavior while on pilgrimage.

She said reports came that Kogites acted with humility and she appreciated their prayers for the State and the nation.

According to the AG, the government is very proud of their conducts while in the holy city of Jerusalem.

The Accountant-General urged corporate bodies and individuals to collaborate with the government of Kogi State to help in the sponsorship of more Pilgrims.

One of the beneficiaries of the kind gesture, Mrs Abisoye Dupe (JP) thanked the Accountant-General for bridging the gap between the government and the people at the grassroot level, and for bringing governance close to the people of the state, especially the women.

She revealed that Kogi state came first in most of the spiritual exercises and made the state proud.

Abisoye expressed satisfaction with the spiritual uplifting experience and the high-quality welfare provided for them by the state while in Jerusalem.
