
Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) under the leadership of Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has commended Kogi State government and labour union for maintaining industrial harmony which has brought development and progress to the state.
Comr. Benjamin stated this in his reaction to the unveiling of the Federal government Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for North Central States in Kogi State.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital, Comr Benjamin described the CNG buses as significant development towards improving transportation in the state.
According to him, the CNG is a cleaner and cost-effective alternative to conventional petrol and diesel fuels, and remains odourless and non corrosive.
Comr Benjamin applauded the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, for the initiative and for choosing Kogi as the flagship state for the North Central region.
He further hailed the state governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for welcoming the development, adding that the Kogi state government has shown commitments and dedications to the development of the state since assumptions of office.
He charged the people of the state to support all the policies of the present administration and reiterated the commitments of the NYCN to supporting the government to achieve set goal.
