Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has charged couples to show understanding and perseverance in marriage.
The Accountant-General gave the admonission in her remark at the marriage ceremony of Shehu to his heartthrob, Rukaya in Okene on Saturday.
She hailed the parents of the couple for bringing up their children in the way of God.
The Accountant-General further counselled the couple to nourish the fresh relationship with love and understanding against all odds.
While congratulating Shehu and Rukaya, she emphasised the need for perseverance in marriage and urged them to remain united in their union.
She prayed Allah sustain the marriage and make provisions for the couple.
The mother of the bridegroom who's one of the frontliners in FAWWASS thanked the AG for her supports all through, and for attending their wedding despite her tight schedules.
She described the day as unforgettable and prayed God continue to elevate the Accountant-General.
Those present at the wedding event were RUWASA boss, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, Kotonkarfe local government Treasurer, Chief Ohikwura Yusuf and his entourage, Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu, members of FAWWASS, among others.
