Kogi State NYCN Demands Justice Following Tragic Murder of Salome Adaidu 

Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) has condemned the killing of Salome Adaidu in the strongest possible terms, and called on the authorities to bring Timileyin Ajayi, who has admitted to the gruesome murder of Salome to justice.

While demanding justice for Salome and her grieving family, the group through its president, Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale called for improved security for the vulnerable, particularly, women and children.

Comr. Benjamin further charged Nigerians to stay vigilant and actively report any suspicious activities to security agencies, and particularly, commended the Nigeria Police Force for its proactiveness and professionalism in handling the matter.

He warned the youths in Kogi State to desist from criminal acts and other vices capable of derailing their future, saying the law would run its full course in the event of breach.

The statements in parts, 

"I express my deepest condemnation over the senseless killing of Salome Adaidu, a young and promising individual who was brutally murdered in Nasarawa State by one Timileyin Ajayi".

"My heart goes out to Salome's family, friends, and loved ones who are grieving her loss."

"I also want to enjoin Kogi youths to be good ambassador of the state wherever they find themselves. Know who you call your role model",

Comr. Benjamin prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and prayed God comfort the family.
