The Chairman of Ogori/Magongo local government area, Rt (Hon.) Rosemary Ohiezu has presented the year 2025 budget estimate of 4,947,889,379 naira to the Ogori/Magongo Council legislative arm.
Hon. Rosemary made the presentation at the legislative chamber of the local government in Akpafa where top political office holders, royal fathers and senior council staff were in attendance.
The proposal Christened “Budget of Hope”, according to Hon. Rosemary was a product of wider consultations, and was made up of 1,446, 676, 090 naira as recurrent expenditure while 2,519,431,480 naira was earmarked for capital expenditure
According to her, the 2025 budget would enable her office to execute projects that would have direct impacts on the lives of the people of the local government area.
While appreciating the stakeholders, and residents of the local government for their unwavering support and trust in her administration, she appealed to the legislators to give the budget a speedy passage.
Meanwhile, the Leader of Ogori/Magongo Legislative Council, Hon. Rose Omoboni Omole commended the Council Chairman for her robust, accountable, and creative leadership of the Council, promising expedited consideration and passage of the budget.
