Director General of Kogi State Government House Administration Alhaji Shaubu Oricha has assured that the present administration will give due attention to the State Broadcasting Corporation.
Alhaji Shaubu gave the assurance when he received Management Staff of the Corporation led by the Director General, Princess Nana Hauwa Yusuf in office.
The visit was the first since the Radio Kogi Director General assumed office in July last year and it was aimed at soliciting support to enable the Corporation offer better broadcasting service to people of the Confluence State.
The Government House Director General, Alhaji Shaubu Oricha, while addressing his visitors assured the management staff of the radio that
all the tools required for enhanced service delivery will be provided.
According to him, in view of the strategic location of the radio house, it is long overdue for renovation to meet modern broadcast standard.
He promised to Channel all the requests by the Management team to the State Governor for quick response, saying Government is interested in reforming the civil service for better performance.
Earlier, the Radio Kogi Director General, Princess Nana Hauwa Yussuf noted that the visit was to appreciate the unwavering support of the Government House D-G, reassuring that the state radio will continue to propagate the activities of government.
She praised the Governor for his quick response to the Resuscitation of Ochaja booster Station that was vandalized by hoodlums.
