Eginofifeli Festival: High Chief Adesina Soje congratulates Opou Clan in Magongo
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and astute business mogul, High Chief (Hon.) Sylvanus Meka Adesina Soje has congratulated Opou Clan in Magongo, Ogori/Magongo LGA as the clan celebrates Eginofifeli festival today, and he urged the people to embrace the festival’s spirit of togetherness and use it as a springboard for further development and inspiration for younger generations.
According to the business mogul, Magongo community is one of the most peaceful, and the people are very peace-loving and accommodating.
High Chief Adesina urged the people to embrace the festival’s spirit of togetherness, noting that the festival will promote unity, integration and understanding among the natives and other residents.
Moving forward, the APC Stalwart hailed the residents and indigenes for giving support to culture and tradition rather than giving it a bad name.
He charged the committee members of the event not to rest on their goal but think outside the box and come up with an enduring programmes that can further promote the resilience of the people in agriculture, and at the same time, showcase the rich culture of the area.
While harping on the need for youths to grow in self reliance, he urged them to be focused and prioritise service to their people, state and the country.
High Chief Adesina in his final note, commended governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his visionary leadership and respect for traditional institutions, and for bringing governance to the grassroots to ensure development and peace across communities in the state.
