Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN), Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has described the appointment of Hon. Musa Idris as the Director of Kogi State Solid Mineral Processing Company Limited, as a well deserved one.
Comr. Benjamin reiterated that the former Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development in the last administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello, will take on his new role with drive, innovation and resilience.
Speaking with Radio Kogi correspondent in his office in Lokoja today, Comr Benjamin hailed Kogi State government for the appointment, and noted that the friendly policies of the present administration will sustain the development of the sector.
He charged the new director to create an enabling business environment for investors, support small-scale mining cooperatives, address illegal mining, and de-risk the sector.
While assuring Kogi State government of Kogi youths resolve to unite and focus their energy on the development of the state, Comr. Benjamin prayed that God will bless Hon. Musa Idris with the needed wisdom to perform well in his new office.
