NYCN: Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Calls for Unity As Suspended Idah chapter coordinator resumes office
Kogi State chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has lifted the suspension of comr. Muhammed Umoru, the Idah chapter coordinator of the NYCN, having served the stipulated suspension term of four months.
Recall that comrade was suspended in June 2024 over gross misconduct.
He's now cleared to resume his duties as the Coordinator of Idah chapter as peace has been restored between the stakeholders and executives of the youth council in the area.
In a letter from the office of the state chairman and addressed to Comr. Muhammed Umoru and copies made available to the Directorate of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and Comr. Salisu Muhammed who was in acting capacity, Comr. Benjamin charged the reinstated coordinator to work closely with the stakeholders in the area to ensure seamless operations.
He enjoined the coordinator to foster unity and cooperation among members, and promote NYCN interests.
While hailing the commissioner of Youths and Sport, Hon. Anyebe Aridaolo Monday for carrying Kogi youths along in state activities, Comr. Benjamin used the occasion to cautioned the youths in the area against sabotaging the efforts of the government of the day in the areas of security, and development
Those who were in the entourage of the State Chairman to Idah Youth House were a stakeholder from Idah, Dr. Isah Mohammed Ogaji, and Destiny Ali Keller who is a former Secretary to Idah Local Government Council and presently serving SSA on Youth Mobilization to the governor of Kogi State.
Others were members and executives of the NYCN in the area.
