Okene APC Holds Grand Finale Campaign Ahead Oct 19 LG Poll

Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, on Thursday urged the electorates in Okene local government area to come out en mass on Saturday to vote for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), positing that governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as an advocate of fairness and equity would ensure the Saturday's election exercise is free, fair and transparent.

The Accountant General noted that the intimidating crowd at the grand finale was a sign of victory for APC, and expressed optimism that the party's chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ahmed Nuhu Enesi popularly known as ANE has the experience, vision, and determination to take Okene local government area to new heights.
The AGS said the combination of ANE and Hon. Adekoye Ovayioza Mabel represents best choice to ensure that Okene local government continues on its path of development and good governance.

The AGS while displaying her voter's card to the crowd, refered to it as, "Okute Ukata", admonished that it's the only weapon needed on Saturday to defeat other political parties.

According to her, the PDP and SDP’s house had been emptied with the massive defections by their notable politicians into the APC.
