NYCN O/M Chapter seeks govt, stakeholders collaboration for development of Ogori/Magongo LGA


The coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogori/Magongo chapter, Comr. Godwin Alao has charged the youths in the area to ensure peace before, during and after Saturday's local council poll.

Comr. Alao said Ogori/Magongo LGA has always been known for peace, and he urged the youths in the area to conduct themselves in an orderly manner through out Saturdays election exercise.

The youth leader also appealed to candidates of political parties to maintain decorum in order to sustain the integrity of the community.

Comr. Godwin Alao stated this when he visited an elder State man in the area, Engr. Olabayode Oladepo with his council members. 

Comr. Alao said the youths are ready to support all credible candidates in tomorrow's election, and described Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu's performance in office as acting Chairman, as impressive.

While commending Engr. Olabayode Oladepo for facilitating projects to Ogori/Magongo LGA, the coordinator thanked him for the warm reception and promised to seek his guidance anytime the need arises.

In a related development, the Youth Council also visited Mr Olu Ebenezer Adurodija, the new Permanent Secretary in the Kogi State Ministry of Information in his residence in Ogori to congratulate him over his appointment.

The Council pray God give him the wisdom needed to pilot the affairs of his new office.
