64th Independence Anniversary: Kogi AG Habibat Onumoko Salutes Nigerians
As Nigeria marks her 64th independence from British colonial rule today, Kogi State Accountant-General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, has extended warm felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, other Nigerians, especially, the people of Kogi State on the occasion.
The Accountant General charged Nigerians to work in unity to surmount the economic and security challenges facing the country.
While expressing hope and optimism that things would change and improve with time, she admonished Nigerians to work together with faith, hope and resilience, irrespective of political, religious and ethnic diversities, to build a Nigeria that is just, prosperous and proud.
According to the Accountant General, Kogi State government is visibly complementing the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the areas of security, education, healthcare, basic infrastructure, youth and women Empowerment
She said the present administration under governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State has made notable strides in various sectors to bring sustainable growth and development, and creating job opportunities through agricultural and Industrial initiatives.
While charging Nigeria youths and women to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his efforts to address the challenges bedeviling the country, she also enjoined the people of Kogi State to give unalloyed support to the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Kogi State Accountant- wishes all Nigerians a happy Independence Day celebration and prayed for peace, unity, and progress across the nation.
