APC is a Transformational Movement - Kogi AG, Habibat
Ahead of the 2024 local government election, the people of Kogi State on Thursday turned out en masse to show overwhelming solidarity and support for the All Progressives Congress, (APC), at its official campaign flag off in Lokoja, the state capital.
While commending the success of the rally at the Ultra Modern Muhammadu Buhari Square, the Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko said the party has credible candidates that would form a formidable team to improve on the successes recorded by the present administration of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
She charged the executives and stakeholders of the party to penetrate the grassroots for campaigns, and convince eligible voters to come out en mass to vote for all the candidates of the party in the forth coming local government and ward elections.
She said, "APC is prepared and ready for the contest and i'm optimistic that the people of Kogi state will overwhelmingly vote for all the candidates of our great party in the October 19 local government election."
The Accountant General further assured the people of Kogi State that the administration of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed to a peaceful election and highlighted the developmental progress achieved by the governor in the last eight months.
While reiterating that the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo will continue to uphold the trust reposed in it, she noted that the success story of the APC led administration at the Federal level is a clear indication that the party is a transformational movement and urged Kogi people to key into the progressive movement for more developments and dividends of democracy.
