LG Poll: Kogi AG, Habibat hails APC, KOSIEC for Successful Conduct of Primary Elections
Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has hailed the leadership of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) and the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) for a job well done in conducting a successful local government and ward primary election in the 21 local government areas of the state.
The Accountant-General also commended governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing adequate security during the exercise.
According to her, the exercise was characterized by transparency, fairness, and credibility, noting that it's a testament to the party's commitment to democratic principles and internal democracy.
The AG said the party has shown leadership and true commitment to building a solid Democratic foundation that will strengthen electioneering process in the state.
She hail KOSIEC's professionalism, efficiency, and impartiality in managing the electoral process.
While congratulating the local government Chairmen and ward Councillorship candidates of the party, she said, "I offer my heartfelt congratulations to those who emerge as winners of the local government and ward primary elections in the 21 local government areas of the state."
"Now that you have won the primary, I urge you to focus on activities that will strengthen the party's unity and cohesion."
"Congratulations once again as I wish all of you success in the October 19 local government election in the state."
