Hausa/Fulani Community in Kogi Central senatorial district has applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's administration for its commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and representation.
The community expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the governor for allocating land to them in Kogi Central.
The Treasurer of Hausa/Fulani APC Political Movement and Sardauna of Sarki Hausawa of Ebiraland, Alh. Isah Usman said they will put the land to judicious use, explaining that it will be used for their settlements, commercial activities and as trailer parks, and in return, generate revenue for the state government.
He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the exemplary leadership attributes he has brought to bear in the governance of the state, adding that Governor Ododo has proven to be leader for all regardless of ethnicity, religion and political inclinations.
While extending gratitude to the Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, the Sarki Hausawa of Ebiraland said the AG is a mother, mentor and role model inspiring them with her kindness and generosity.
He said her selflessness and compassion embody the true spirit of motherhood, making her a beloved figure in the Hausa/Fulani community of Kogi central.
Also speaking at the event was the Chairman of Hausa/Fulani APC Political Movement, Alh muhammadu Jimah Jango who noted that , from all indications, Hajia Habibat is popular both at home and outside, and widely celebrated, to the extent of being confered chieftaincy title in Okun part of Kogi State.
He hailed Hajia Habibat for bridging the gap between the Hausa/Fulani community and the government of the day.
The Sarki Hausawa, Alh. Adamu Saleh Danladi who was ably represented by his Secretary, Nafiu Garba said the Hausa and the Fulani people in Kogi central will continue to remain law-abiding citizens and prayed for the progress of Kogi state.
The Sarki Hausawa restated that the non-indigenes in the state have so far enjoyed the benevolence of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's-led administration in the state, and added that the Hausa/Fulani Community is for the second term of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The community offered special prayers for the Governor and for others in his cabinet, including the Accountant-General, and beseeched God to continue to elevate and bestow them with wisdom, good health, and long life to render more selfless service to Kogi State and Nigeria.
Others who were present at the event include , Okene Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Nasir Isah, Secretary to Sarki Hausawa Nafiu Garba, Hausa/Fulani Woman Leader, Aisha Haruna amongst others.
