The Chief Medical Director of the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Prof. Isah Yahaya Adagiri, has once again congratulated and commended the indefatigable and hardworking Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his resounding victory at the Court of Appeal. The court upheld the judgment of the Kogi State Election Tribunal, which affirmed Governor Ododo's win in the November gubernatorial election.
Prof. Adagiri praised the judiciary for upholding the principles of justice and fairness, noting that the judgment was not surprising given the overwhelming support Governor Ododo received from the electorate. He highlighted the enthusiastic turnout during the election and the ongoing goodwill the Governor enjoys from the people of Kogi State since his inauguration.
During his address, Prof. Adagiri outlined some of Governor Ododo’s significant achievements, including improvements in security, road construction, the upgrading and equipping of health institutions, substantial investment in agriculture, and the regular and prompt payment of workers' salaries.
He emphasized that anyone genuinely interested in the progress and prosperity of Kogi State should support Governor Ododo’s administration. Prof. Adagiri advised the opposition to cease pursuing unattainable goals and to align themselves with the Governor’s progressive agenda.
Prof. Adagiri concluded by praying for God's continued blessings on Governor Ododo, his cabinet members, and the entire Kogi State.
