Kogi State Accountant-General Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has stated that the governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration is matching words with actions and exploring all available options to ensure that the dividends of democracy gets to the doorsteps of the common man.
The AG made the statement when she received some grassroot development groups today in her office in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
She said in the last 5 months, the government of Alh. Ahmad Usman Ododo has continued to engage critical stakeholders in the state and directly interfacing with local government councils in its efforts to extend development to the grassroots.
According to her, the diversity of the state should be a strength for progress, peace and development, maintaining that governor Ahmed Usman Ododo remains resolute towards adhering to his campaign mantra of continuity, consolidation and innovations.
While reiterating that the government of Alh. Ahmed Ododo is focusing on grassroots development and prioritizing citizen engagement, she urged the people of Kogi State to avoid acts prejudicioous to the peace and development of the state.
In a related development, Progressive Youths for Education and Leadership (PYEL) has presented a portrait artwork to the Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko.
The group described the performance of the AG within five months in office as commendable, stressing that she has restored hope of women in Ebiraland and Kogi State.
The group who was full of praise for the AG also noted that she has made a significant mark in a very short period of time.
The group commended the AG for her invaluable contributions to the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, as well as her efforts in portraying a positive image of the state.
They prayed that God will continue to bless the AG with long life and the needed strength to enable her offer more service to the state, country and humanity.
