Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, has felicitated with muslims on the celebration of 2024 Eid-el-Kabir.
In her Eid-el-Kabir message to the people of the state, the AG said the season represents obedience, love, peace, togetherness and sacrifice.
She charged muslims to exhibit peace, mutual respect and tolerance as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, and urged all adherents of the Islamic faith to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir to reflect on its lesson and maintain sincere relationship with God.
The AG also used the special event to reiterate governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's commitment to providing good governance and conducive economy atmosphere for businesses to thrive in the state, with the supreme aim of making life more meaningful to the people.
The AG whished Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the muslim community in the state and the entire Kogites at home, and in the diaspora a blissful celebration and pray that the blessings of the celebration continue to radiate in their lives through the remaining months of the year.
