EID AL-ADHA CELEBRATION: PCRC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM UMMAH, CALLS FOR TOTAL DEDICATION AND SUBMISSION TO ALLAH.
As the world celebrates the joyous occasion of 1455 AH EID AL-ADHA FESTIVAL which is usually observed on the 10th day of the 12th Lunar month on Islamic Calendar, Hijrah Calendar which is the 10th of Dhul Hijjah 1455 AH (After Hijrah) and corresponding to June 16th 2024, the number one PCRC member in Nigeria and Diaspora, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan has called on Muslim faithfuls across the globe, most especially in Nigeria to be committed and dedicate themselves more to almighty Allah.
Alhaji Olaniyan while congratulating all Ummahs on the grace bestowed by Allah to witness another celebration in good health despite the current global challenges, urges all to be steadfast, prayerful and patient in our challenges as nothing is beyond the control of Allah.
He also called for prayers for governments and leadership at all levels with a special message to Nigerians especially to collectively pray for the Nation to succeed under the current leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. The multiple Chieftaincy title holder across geopolitical zones in Nigeria says acts of patriotism, discipline and sacrifice for the Nation from her citizens are vital possessions on the journey to greatness.
Mogaji made reference to the Holy Quran, Surah 4 Ayat 59: "O you who believe! Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority (uli al-amr) among you. And if you differ among yourselves concerning any matter, refer it to God and the Messenger, if you believe in God and the last Day".
From the above, it is crystal clear that obedient is key and it is a step ahead of our sacrifices. Though it is imperative for us to offer sacrifices, such does not end in the slaughtering of rams, cow or sheep but a total show of faith in Almighty Allah the overall ruler and then the people with vested authorities.
May this year's celebration leads all Muslim Ummahs to more celebrations on earth in good health, happiness and prosperity.
