Democracy Day: Dr. Ozomata Assures Kogi Citizens Dividends Of Democracy Under Governor Ododo.

In celebration of Democracy Day, Dr. Sanni Abdullahi Ozomata, the Technical Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi, has reaffirmed the commitment of the state government to the welfare and progress of the state’s citizens under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

In his address to the people of Kogi, Dr. Ozomata emphasized the importance of democracy as a catalyst for positive change.

He highlighted the significance of active citizen participation and engagement in shaping the future of the state.

Democracy is not just about the day the military handed over power to an elected civilian government; it’s about the dividends it brings to the people,” Dr. Ozomata stated.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by the state, Dr. Ozomata outlined a comprehensive plan to ensure that every citizen of Kogi benefits from the dividends of democracy. This plan includes initiatives to improve healthcare, education, infrastructure, and job opportunities.

To my fellow Nigerian youth, this is another day to remind ourselves that we shouldn’t slack off, lose faith, or remain indifferent. This is a critical juncture that requires us to summon our strength, devise effective plans, and actively participate to ensure our voices are heard and our impact is felt. We cannot achieve this if we continue to engage in thuggery, illicit drug use, and other illegal activities.

We must work together to build a Kogi where every citizen can thrive and fulfill their potential,” he said.

Central to Dr. Ozomata’s vision is the concept of inclusivity and unity. He emphasized the need to bridge divides and foster a sense of belonging among all citizens of Kogi, regardless of background or political affiliation.

In unity, there is strength,” he declared", urging the people to come together in pursuit of common goals.
