Mama Aminatu laid to rest in Okene

The remains of mama Aminatu Musa, mother of Hon. Ibrahim Musa popularly known as Chief OC has been laid to rest today Wednesday at her hometown, Okengwe in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, amidst tears and eulogies. 

Mama Aminatu who died at the age of 95 was survived by Children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In a sermon at her family's residence in Abuga, the Islamic cleric, Ustadh Muhammad Sanni described death as inevitable end of every man on earth. He admonished the people to avoid associating partner with God in whatever form and admonished the children of the deceased to live godly lives.
Another Islamic scholar popularly known as Sheikh Abdulmumuni in his lecture described the death of mama Aminatu as a great loss to her family and Okengwe community.

While praying to God to grant the soul of the Hajia Aminatu eternal rest,  he urged her children to immortalize her by promoting the good traits she radiated. 

Speaking on behalf of the family members of the deceased, Chief O.C thanked those who commiserated with the Musa's family on the passing of their mother, noting that she lived a life of great accomplishments, especially in her devotions to Allah. 

Those who attended  the prayers include Islamic clerics, community leaders, political party stalwarts among others.
