FAWWASS hails Gov. Ododo for appointing Bilikisu Aliyu as Special Adviser
Members of FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) have commended governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the appointment of Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu as his Special Adviser on Humanitarian.
The members cutting across the 5 local government areas in Kogi central, today in GRA Okene, hailed the governor during a reception ceremony organized in honour of Hon. Bilikisu Aliyu.
The group described the decision of the governor as not only unparalleled, but strategic and demonstration of his all-inclusive style of governance.
The coordinators speaking on behalf of the members, noted that Kogi State has significant women population, and appointing women in government will help to ensure that their perspectives and interests are adequately represented.
They reiterated that Hon. Bilikisu will work competently and with dedication to advance governor Ododo's policies and governance.
While calling on all Kogites irrespective of political divide to support the administration of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and his avowed commitment to improving the condition of the people, the group thanked the governor for rewarding their president with the Special Adviser appointment, and thanked the Accountant General of the State, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko for her mentorships and supports to women in Kogi state.
