Gov. Ododo appearance at Ex Gov's House was accidental

Gov. Ododo appearance at Ex Gov's House was accidental

By Engr Saeed Halilu

A concern citizen of Nigeria resident of USA writes to frown at the speculative information of the Kogi state incumbent Governor who was at the former Governor, Yahaya Bello house at the time of the siege to provide cover, and protect him from being arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nigeria.

the siege between the former governor of Kogi state Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the accidental appearance of the incumbent governor Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman describing the action of the EFCC to be a constitutional right that no single individual should undermine as when the law invited an individual such invitation should be treated with maximum honor.

He therefore clear the air on the action of Ododo as an "accidental appearance" upon investigation from reliable source that on that same day He Ododo had a state executive meeting where he swore in two commissioners into the executive house and left for an emergency meeting in Abuja with some party stakeholders to discuss on the primary election to elect a flag bearer of APC in Ondo state and take such advantage to extend greetings to his former boss and met the incident that the former governor's residence is surrounded by the EFCC. By right, Ododo has no knowledge of the presence of EFCC in his former boss's house.

But the general public perspective in that scenario is right when you have no knowledge of what actually transpired and when the real action portrayed. Ododo has been a law abiding citizen whose office has been subjected to investigation by Code of Conduct Bureau and as well EFCC in the time past, and he cannot descend too low to avert such action on his boss. In Nigeria politics, every political leader can never escape any queries from such constituted authority set to right the wrongs.

I appeal to Nigerians to take note of this report as it clearly state what transpired between the former governor, EFCC and the incumbent governor of Kogi state and asked that the social media should not give negative image to the citizens of Kogi state.
