Easter: Kogi AG preaches Peace, Unity

The Accountant-General of Kogi State, Hajia (Dr.) Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has called on the people of the state to emulate the virtues of love and sacrifice which characterized the life of Jesus Christ.
In her felicitation message made available to Radio Radio, the AG charged the Christians in Kogi state to use the holy season of easter, which heralds the end of the month-long lenting period, to fervently seek God’s face for sustained peace, unity and progress of the state; while also praying for an end to all the economic challenges currently bedeviling the nation.

The AG expressed optimism that Kogites will soon overcome the economic headwinds, as the government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo is putting things in place to ensure the dividends of democracy gets to the people, especially, those at the grassroot level.

She tasked Kogites at home and those residents in other states to be good ambassadors of the State and to refrain from using strong words against their leaders.

According to her, most of the people fanning the ember of discord and unrest in the state don't even stay in Kogi state and are entirely disconnected from the true state of affairs of the state.

The Accountant-General called for sustained prayers for the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in his bid to offer good governance in the state.
