Kogi AG, Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, greets muslims at Ramadan, says Gov. Ododo is Committed to the welfare of all Kogites

Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko Ph.D, FCNA has congratulated muslims in the state on the commencement of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan.

She enjoined the muslim faithful in the state to remain steadfast to the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan which include patience, forgiveness, charity, good neighborliness, and righteousness.

The AG urged the adherents of the Islamic faith to use the period of Ramadan for spiritual cleansing, and to also pray for sustained unity and peace in the state. 

Speaking on the achievements recorded by the present administration in the last 30 days, the Accountant-General said the government of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo is people-centred, and committed to the welfare of all Kogites, noting further that the government is doing all within its means to lesson the hardship faced by the people.

The AG posited that the task of building the future of Kogi State requires a collective effort, calling on the people of the state irrespective of religion, political affiliation or tribe, to come together to pray to God for the continued peace, progress, and the wellbeing of the people of the state and the country.
