Members of Kogi State Youths Parliament have in unanimous decision elected a member of Fancy Media Team (FMT), Rt Hon. Solomon Ademola Isaac as its Speaker.
Hon. Ademola's election was announced yesterday during a special session of the Youth Parliament, where members gathered to freely exercise their franchise on the choice of a new leader that will steer the affairs of the parliament for another tenure.
Members of the parliament adduced Hon. Ademola's emergence as a result of his dedicated and selfless services to the parliament over the years.
While basking in the euphoria of the Speaker's election, members expressed optimism that their new leader would leave no stone unturned in seeking relevance and due recognition for Kogi youths and beyond.
"The massive supports he enjoys in our midst made his victory seamless. He has been the voice of the youths before this crucial assignment. It is indeed a momentous occasion for us at the Youth Parliament because we believe in his capacity to lead us in a right direction", they said.
In his acceptance speech, Rt Hon. Ademola expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by members of the parliament. He restated his commitment to upholding the values of the Youth Parliament and working tirelessly to address the issues that matter most to young people.
Fancy Media Team (FMT) through its Team Leader, Mr Sanni Suleiman Abubakar congratulated Hon. Ademola for this well-deserved victory and charged him to bring innovations into his new role.
"Your election should mark a new chapter in the organization's history as we pray you occupy higher positions in future", he said.
