The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM, ALH. (Dr.) Muhammed Tijani Anaje yesterday, received the Igbo, Yoruba community and other non-indigene in Ebiraland, at his palace in Okene Local Government Area, Kogi state.
The Igbo and Yoruba communities was led by Igwe, Chief Godwin Orah and Chief Fagbuyi Ola, respectively.
As the norm of the event, three categories of prayers were observed, where Almighty God was exalted for the peaceful enthronement of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland without traces of inferno in the land, peace and longevity reigning of the monarch was one of the core prayer point.
The non-indigene, including people from Edo and the Hausa community, spoke persons acknowledge the impact of the immediate past governor of the State, His Excellency Alhaji yahaya Adoza Bello and the present governor of the State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the peaceful conduct of the selection exercise that produced the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, the quadripartite who implore the monarch to carry them along as they have been staying in the land for many years with the record of prosperity.
The non-indigene promise their loyalty to the King, with assurance of maximum cooperation for the growth of their host community, noting that Ebiraland is equally those home, as they have been involved in inter ethnic marriage, the quadripartite presented their royalties gift to the monarch.
In his remarks, the monarch joyfully appreciated the humble visit of the non-indigene,expressing his believe in one Nigeria.
The King equally recalled how he has visited many part of the country, stressing that he was treated with love by his host community.
The Royal father noted that, every religion welcomes the practice of good neighbourliness, as such enhances ones faith and promotes unity, HRM. Alhaji Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, promised to be a leader that will unite all his subjects, irrespective of religion and the ethnical origin.
The monarch implore the marketers, majorly the Igbos in the land to be lenient in the price of their goods especially in a period like this where average Nigerians are facing financial crises, the Ohinoyi promise to constitute committee that will serve as middle man between the marketers and the consumers, inorder to safeguard the interest of all parties involved.
The Ohinoyi pray for the peaceful coexistence of the non-indigene, stressing that they'll surely eat the fruit of their labour.
