The Chief Medical Director of Reference Hospital Okene, Prof Solomon Avidime, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his well-deserved swearing-in as the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
He said the new governor has the capacity and competence to advance peace and security of the state.
Speaking at the palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alh. Ahmed Tijani Anaje, in a program organized to welcome home the former governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello, he said the new governor has been well mentored and his unwavering passion for the welfare of the people of Kogi State have earned him the trust and support of the people of the state.
The CMD noted that the gubernatorial office was a call to service unto the people and it comes with pressing demands and responsibilities, requiring focus, discipline, and empathy.
He said he's confident that the new government will prioritise health and sustained the legacies of the former governor in the health sector.
Responding to questions from Journalists, Prof. Avidime said former governor, Yahaya Bello carries a formidable structure in the APC both at the state and national level, describing him as a national figure that will continue to play vital roles in Nigeria political jouney.
He wish Ahmed Usman Ododo God's wisdom, strength, direction, and guidance to deliver on his mandate to the people of the state.
