The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ogori/Magongo Chapter has presented "Award of Honour" to the permanent secretary Kogi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia (Dr.) Habibat Onumoko for her outstanding cum sterling contributions to human capital development.
The award which was presented to the permanent secretary during her birthday on the 30th December, 2023 that in Okene, was in recognition of her numerous empowerment programmes, scholarship schemes and other philanthropic gestures to Kogi youths and women.
The Coordinator, Comr. Alao Godwin Foregan with other executives of the Council, Comr. Tayo Onimisi Omodaiye and Comr. Victoria Esemeje Alabi, the Deputy Coordinator and Secretary respectively, on behalf of Council presented the award.
Comr. Foregan said the perm. secretary was selected for the special award in recognition of her unwavering commitment to promoting the growth and development of young people not just in Ebiraland alone but in Kogi State.
He prayed that God continue to uplift the perm. secretary and take her to more greater heights as she renders service to Kogi and humanity.
