The permanent secretary in the Kogi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has felicitated with Kogites in all walks of life on the occasion of the New Year.
The perm. secretary in her New Year message, called on the people of Kogi State to close ranks and work together for peace and progress of the state.
She appealed to the people of Kogi state, especially the youths, to eschew divisive tendencies and resist attempts by subversive elements to use them as “cannon fodder.
The perm. secretary called for support for the administration of governor Yahaya Bello and the incoming administration of Alh. Ahmed Usman, describing them as leaders with clear direction and genuine interest to develop the state.
While wishing the people of the state an eventful year ahead, she prayed the New Year brings prosperity, growth, and fulfillment to the state.
