Kogi Central Progressives Vanguard (KCPV) has described the appointment of Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko as the Accountant-General of Kogi State as a round peg in a round hole, noting that her appointment will add up and make Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo's cabinet formidable.
The Coordinator of the association, Mr. Augustine Innocent Onotu said Hajia Habibat Oyiza has proven that women can always measure up through hardwork and dedications.
According to him, the new AG has the requisite knowledge, experience and qualifications to fit into her new position, expressing optimism that she will perform excellently like her predecessor.
Mr. Innocent said no quarter has raised eyebrow over Hajia Habibat Onumoko's appointment as the Accountant General of the State.
Reflecting on the rallies across the senatorial districts held by the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the governorship election, Comr. Augustine said KCPV monitored the entire rallies and impressed by the strategies adopted by Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko.
"During the APC campaign period, we saw what Hajia Habibat Oyiza did because we monitored all the rallies in all the senatorial zones. She was everywhere canvassing votes for her party's candidate, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo."
"She was fearless as she embarked on robust campaigns, built bridges and made friends all over the state, knowing fully well that becoming a candidate was only the beginning of the election process."
The group prayed that God continue to elevate His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello and bless the new Accountant-General as she resumes office to discharge her duties.
