Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has promised to give full support to women in the state.

Addressing members of FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) yesterday evening in GRA Okene, she adviced the women to unite and show love and support to one another, and most importantly, to have confidence in their abilities.

According to her, the immediate past administration created the platform that promoted Kogi women and enabled them excel in their various endeavours.

"Many Kogi women are now into politics, entrepreneurship and in the corporate world recording remarkable achievements in their various fields. This is possible because the former governor has women-friendly policies that supported the growth of women."

The AG admonished women not to be too extravagant, rather to live a moderate lifestyle, noting that not getting what one expects always can gradually lead to frustration, low self-esteem, and depression.

"The secret to a fulfilled and happy life is living in moderation. The whole idea of moderation is to live a life of contentment by appreciating things you already possess."

She revealed that her success secrets are hard work, exuding happiness and having abiding faith in Allah.

While emphasizing that the State Government would continue to uphold accountability and transparency in government, she charged the women in the state to continue to support the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The AG charged parents, especially mothers to always influence their children positively by instilling values and morals in them from the early stage of their lives.
She thanked the House of Representatives members Hon. Muhammed Tijani Ozigis and Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem for paying visit to the members of FAWWASS.
