Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, the newly appointed Accountant-General of Kogi state, on Sunday said Governor Yahaya Bello's administration has fulfilled all its campaign promises made to Kogites in 2015 and in 2019, noting that the governor has set Kogi state on irreversible paths of greatness through the implementation of masses-centric policies.
While fielding questions from newsmen, the state Accountant-General said the present administration under the watch of Alh. Yahaya Bello has delivered in the areas of education, economy, health and also fought against corruption in the public service.
Hajia Habibat said before the administration of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, the state was practically under the siege of terrorism and other forms of insecurity.
She also posited that the governor has been fair to the three senatorial districts in the state - East, Central and West, in the allocation of the state's resources.
"when governor Yahaya Bello came on board, he rolled up his sleeves to fight insecurity and ensured he delivers on the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kogi State."
"He demonstrated that Kogites deserve dividends of democracy especially with the present economic hardship many people are facing in the country."
The new AG called for continued support and prayers for the state and the incoming administration to enable it succeed.
