Kogi Centrals Progressives Vanguard (KCPV) has congratulated Ahmed Usman Ododo, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his resounding victory as the Governor of Kogi State in the November 11th, 2023 Gubernatorial elections in Kogi State.
In a press release signed by the Coordinator of the group, Comr. Augustine Innocent Onotu, the group described the victory of Usman Ododo as a big win for democracy.
The statement reads in parts, “we wil like to reiterate our stand that KCPV as a socio- political group is willing to work with the government of Ahmed Usman Ododo towards realizing the lofty dreams he has for Kogi state".
"We believe that as he take over the conveted seat at the Lugard House come January 27, 2024, Kogi State will witness further dividends of democracy ranging from rapid human development, employments opportunity for the teeming youth, massive employments and empowerments for Kogi women.
While extolling the leadership traits and monumental landmarks of the Yahaya Bello's administration in Kogi State in the past 7 and half years, KCPV expressed confidence in Ahmed Usman Ododo's ability to do more to place Kogi State in a strategically competitive position.
The group pray that under Ahmed Usman Ododo Kogi State will be more prosperous, united and stable.
