FAWWASS describes Perm. Sec. Habibat Onumoko as Visionary, Committed leader

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has been described as an exceptional administrator and a visionary leader who has continued to show an uncommon commitments towards the development and progress of the state.

The commendation was given yesterday in Okene by members of FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS), a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in Kogi State.
The group hailed the Perm. Secretary for her display of outstanding leadership skills and contributions to human development in Ebiraland and across the state.

Speaking with newsmen during an interactive session organized by FAWWASS in GRA Okene yesterday, the President of the group, Hon. Bilikisu Onumoko lauded the Perm. Secretary for her innate humility, patriotism and doggedness in the face of daunting challenges, and her love for the vulnerable people.

FAWWASS Coordinators who also spoke on behalf of the members of their respective Local Government thanked the Permanent Secretary for her supports to them.
They said through Hajia Habibat Onumoko, Government vision of making dividends of democracy get to more people, especially the women at the grassroot level was achieved.

While mentioning some of the life-changing initiatives introduced by Hajia Habibat Onumoko, the Coordinators said to mention but a few, many members of the group were enrolled in skills acquisition programmes and awarded certificates with equipment/tools after the training for self reliance. They further noted that traders among them have gotten financial assistance to boost their businesses, and many of their members were enrolled in special classes, registered for Senior Secondary School Examination, afterwards awarded scholarships to study in higher institution of their choice.
The Coordinators also said there is no month they don't receive clothes to cover themselves and to make them look more gorgeous, positing that this is the first time in the history of Kogi state that women were accorded such regard.

The group prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom and protection for Hajia Habibat Onumoko in the course of discharging her duty to the state as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and in her future endeavors.
