The Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has called on the people of Kogi State to support and pray for the success of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo's administration.
She gave the charge today while addressing members of FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) through a telephone call.
She said, "I congratulate all of you once again for the victory of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo. His victory was obviously an act of God which no man can change."
"As a member of FAWWASS, It's not enough to just attend meetings or say you're an APC member. You must continue to pray for peace, progress and development of Kogi State."
"Most importantly, always remember to pray for the success of the incoming administration and for our Leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello. It's our prayers that one day, Alh. Yahaya Bello will be addressed as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
According to the Permanent Secretary, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo's victory at the polls didn't come as surprise even to the oppositions, stating that the legacy projects embarked upon by Governor Yahaya Bello were enough campaigns for his candidacy.
She prayed that God will grant the Governor-Elect the wisdom, courage and will to fulfill his lofty plans, policies and programmes for the people of Kogi state.
