It was exciting as the words of spiritual fathers in their separate voices sparkled the large audience while praying and speaking to God over the successful journey of the APC Governorship Candidate, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo during the delivery of the opening prayer by Pastor Israel Isah.
The prayer was organized by the Adavi-Eba Believers Political Forum, powered by Mrs. Ruth Michael JP (Rabi) the Sister to Ahmed Usman Ododo, in a quest to draw more support for the Ododo/Oyivo Mandate ahead of the November 11th Governorship Election.
In attendance were members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the leader of Mattaga's Forum, Adavi-Eba, Honorable Mattaga, Honorable Okwaragi, the Personal Assistant to Alhaji Usman Ododo's Wife, Adavi Eba APC Woman Leader, Onyi Baraka, Christian Leaders across Ebiraland, People of Adavi-Eba Province and the well-wishers.
Shortly after the brief worship hymns lifted by a young and energetic choir mistress, Emanuel Bose and her crew, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adavi Branch, emphasized the gap between a good name and riches; "bringing down my name would be the last decision to take under duress, as that can go a long way to tarnished my reputation, I therefore, urged the incoming Governor to always ensure his reputable name come first before any other business, as he steps towards becoming the number one citizen of our dear State, God's willing, I preferred being hurt by myself than allowed my name to be tarnished for any reason, hence, the essence of that name "Ododo" should be regarded" he said.
Mr. Innocent Aliu, Chairman, of Adavi-Eba Believers Political Forum commended the members of Believers Political Forum for being relentless in their effort to deliver the mandate of Ododo/Oyivo in the forthcoming Governorship election, especially the guests for the unalloyed support given to GYB over the years, he thereby call on the son's and daughter's of Ebira Nation to support Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for Consolidation
The prayer proper was arranged and ably led according to the hefty spiritual Men of God on the auspicious occasion, Pastor Simon Adawudi, Ven. JAB Fagbemi, and Ven. Simon Joel in different tongues went into a deep conversation with God, to seek His consent upon the success of Ododo's mission to the lugard house.
Conclusively, they took turns to express gratitude to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and recounted his unflinching effort in putting Kogi State to an enviable height as a great task ever, prayed for his unlimited height in life, and further enjoined all and sundry to come out en masse come November 11th to vote and verify Ododo's victory together.
While commending Mrs. Ruth Emanuel for being civil enough to display the true example of a true Sister, and also the mother of a multitude she is becoming, Honorable Okwaragi, in his speech, urged her to always be cautious in her dealings provided she will accommodate a long-lasting bond with her followers, mentioned some of her positions as a mother, prayed that God would perfect all her heart desires as she and the entire group have made it necessary to reach out to as many as they can to join them on the success prayer for the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Prophet Daniel Alaba in his remarks admonished the incoming Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo to ensure he pays more attention to project inspection, recognition of religious discrepancy, and extends the dividend of democracy to the people at the lower levels of government after his victory, and however reassured that as for the 11,11 victory is by His grace a done deal.
In expressing her optimism and confidence in the victory of APC Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, Ruth Michael JP (Rabi) gave glory to God for His all-round blessings upon the life of her brother, posited that her prayer is not only for him to emerge victoriously, but also to maintain unbeatable margins to clear the doubt of God's intervention in the process, she concluded.
