Kogi Assembly Member, Chico empowers over 400 constituents.

...donates motorized borehole, reiterates good representation.

No fewer than 400 residents of Adavi  Local Government Area in Kogi State have benefitted from the empowerment program of Hon. Asema Baba Haruna popularly known as Chico.

According to him, the empowerment was one of the many ways he intended to give back to his Constituency who has found him worthy to represent them in the State House of Assembly, promising to continue to justify the trust reposed in him.

Hon. Asema Baba Haruna who is the Chief Whip of the Kogi State 8th Assembly has on Wednesday 8th November, 2023 empowered his Constituents numbering over 400 with cash, pumping machine/sprayers, food and clothes.

The lawmaker said he has also fixed over 8 abandoned boreholes across Adavi LGA and constructed a motorized borehole in Uhucheiba community, to serve the people of the area.

While appreciating Governor Yahaya Bello for his quality leadership in the state, he said the newly commissioned borehole was dedicated to Governor Yahaya Bello who is his benefactor.

Hon. Asema while soliciting prayers from his constituents to enable him succeed in office, he charged the people of Adavi and entire Ebiraland to vote for the candidate of the APC, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for more gains of democracy.

He said "the people of Ebiraland should not listened to the desperate politicians campaigning for Sen. Dino Melaye in the area". According to him, the PDP candidate is not a serious contender in the governorship race, noting that when he was in the Senate, he was always seen as a comedian and such person does no'lt fit in any sense to govern a state like Kogi.

Those who were present during the program were Chairman of Adavi LGA, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, Chairman APC Kogi Central, Hon. Mauzu Salihu Animoku, Alh. Isah Ozi Salami, Adavi APC Chairman, Hon. Barnabas Oyibo.

Others were former Assembly Member Hon. Muktar Bajeh, APC ward chairmen and the ward Councillors in Adavi LGA, Alh. Ahmadu Obeito, Adayi Osivave Osondo and Hon. Yusuf Mohammed.
