Governor-Elect Ahmed Usman Ododo Will bring more prosperity to Kogi State -Perm. Sec. Habibat

The Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has assured the people of Kogi State that the governor-elect, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo will use his vast experience and knowledge to bring more prosperity and development to the state, positing that Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has shown readiness to take a cue from Governor Yahaya Bello who, according to her, has been demonstrating great virtues and consistency in the face of challenges.

The Perm. Sec. gave the assurance during a program tagged, "Celebrating our own Icon, Hajia (Dr.) Habibat Tijjani Oyiza 4 Ododo/Joel Victory",  powered by the Critical Stakeholders (Directors of LG and Treasurers of LG).
The program was organized to honour the Perm. Sec for her doggedness, resilience and genuine support for the Ododo/Joel mandate through out the campaign period of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the last governorship election.

In her "thank you" message, the Perm. Sec. said, "I thank all of you for finding me worthy of this celebration. I am indeed, grateful."
"It's high time the oppositions came to terms with reality. The government of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has come to stay. If you vote for him, he's your governor and if you didn't vote for him, he's still your governor."

The Permanent Secretary also used the occasion to commend His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello for rising up to many occasions, especially to security, describing him as a leader with foresight and a politician to reckon with.

"You see His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, he's a huge rock, the more you hit him, the more you will bend. Now that it's clear to them that they cannot beat his records, they should support his progressive ideals to drive the state forward".

The Permanent Secretary thanked Hon. Adams Adabenege, Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Commerce and Industry and Alh. Sadiq Anako, a member in the State Special Audit Committee, noting it was a wonderful experience working with them and she described them as "partners in progress."

She urged the people of Kogi State to cooperate and support the present and incoming administrations in their determinations to make life better for the people of Kogi state.
