AMB. GIMBIYA HANNATU USMAN NGA PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF HRM. LATE ALH. ABDUL RAHMAN ADO IBRAHIM (CON)
While with a heavy heart over the demise of an Icon and Royal Father, HRM. Alh. Dr. Abdul Rahman Ado Ibrahim (CON), the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, whose sad event occurred on Sunday, the 29th of October 2023, after a brief illness.
Amb. Gimbiya Usman Nga took a walk to visit the palace and register her condolence visit with his beloved family who are presently sobbing from the great shock of their beloved father, Ohinoyi if Ebiraland..
She described His Majesty as a father of the Ebira kingdom, a mentor, a role model, a leader per-excellent and a great man of the century who was in his time serving the nation with the spirit of oneness, dedication, and love for humanity within his jurisdiction, and further buttressed that his position as a father to all and sundry during his reign was second to none, as the progress of the large community and the interest of the nation was always his driven force.
In her words; "On behalf of my family, I joined people of virtue and the entire people of Kogi Central to commensurate with the family of His Royal Majesty, and Ebira land at large, I pray that God forgives his shortcomings, place him in a peaceful abode and grant him Paradise".
Following the conclusion to the massive prayers showered on the departed soul by Amb. Hamza and Ustaz Abdul Azeez Isah, Imam of the Jummat Mosque behind His Majesty resident, Amb. Gimbiyyat returned the gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent while commending the scholars of the mosque for always being there for His Majesty when he was alive, reminded them of the goodness of God to them afterward, and charged them to be more prayerful as that is the only means of reaching out to the deceased ones.
Others in attendance included Engr. Sadiq, Ex-Kogi Commissioner For Works, Dr. Suleiman Salihu Abdullah, Religious leaders, and visitors from various Local government councils.
