Deputy Director General of Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Alh. Hadi Ametuo today played host to the members of the Kogi Central Independent Campaign Council (ICC).
Alh. Ametuo charged them to live up to expectations by discharging their duties faithfully. According to him, they must not betray the confidence reposed in them by the party.
Alh. Ametuo said the candidate of the APC, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo is the only candidate that's competent and can continue the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello, noting that Kogites irrespective of religion and ethnicity would have to show commitments in Ododo's project to ensure the projects embarked upon by Governor Yahaya Bello are not abandoned by a new administration.
Responding, the Kogi Central Coordinator of the ICC, Comr. Siyaka Onivori Salihu hailed the Deputy DG for carrying all the stakeholders of the party in Kogi central along. Comr. Siyaka said the Deputy DG has demonstrated that genuine politics is local. He reiterated the ICC's dedication to Ododo's victory.
In a related development, the Deputy DG also received the Ayonette PDP Forum of Lafia/Obessa ward who were formally members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the APC.
The members who said they were formally APC members who defected to the PDP because they were neglected after they have worked for the party's victory during the Senate election, said they are ready to return to the APC and key into Kogi Agenda.
Alh. Ametuo commended them for their foresight and assured them that their complaints would be addressed. He enjoined them to immediately join their ward meetings and fully key into Ododo/Joel mandate for more development and prosperity.
