Kogi 2023: Ododo has both the experience and the intellectual capacity to steer the ship of the state - Perm. Sec. Habibat.
The Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has described the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as someone who is reliable, competent and ready to bring his many years of experience to bear in the administration of the state if elected.
Hajia Habibat who was visibly elated expressed appreciation to the people of Ebiraland for defying the scorching sun to attend the Kogi Central APC rally in Okene today.
According to her, the APC would continue to witness significant increase in its membership because the opposition parties in the state have lost vision and focus.
The Perm. Secretary maintained that Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has brighter chance of becoming Kogi State Governor, positing that if he's elected as Governor, he has both the experience and the intellectual capacity to steer the ship of the state.
She said before the coming of Governor Yahaya Bello as Kogi state governor, the economy of the state was destroyed with excruciating debts and there was persistent insecurity across the state. She said it was APC government who brought peace and created conducive atmosphere for businesses to thrive.
Hajia Habibat urged the youths to eschew all forms of violence and resist being used to cause mayhem before, during and after the elections. She charges the youths, men and women to come out en masse to vote for Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo of the APC for more dividends of democracy.
Hajia Habibat also used the occasion to appeal to the non-indigenes (Hausa, Fulani, Ndigbo, Yorubas etc.) in Kogi central to join Ododo/Joel movement for continuity and Consolidations, adding that Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has promised to come up with policies and assent to bills that would make Kogi state, home-away-from-home for them.
