Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya on Political Affairs who doubles as the Deputy Director General, Kogi State APC Campaign Council, Alh. Hadi Ametuo yesterday had interactions with the principals of secondary schools in Kogi central.
Ametuo who is the pioneer Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State thanked the principals for their support to the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello and urged them to encourage their family members, friends, staff members and students of their various schools to vote for the APC candidate, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He said the legacy projects of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello must be sustained, noting that the ruling APC government has promised to pay the WAEC and NECO fees including JAMB of school children in the state.
Alh. Ametuo said it's important that there should be continuity in projects embarked upon by Governor Bello, citing the Reference Hospital, Okene, Custech Osara, GYB Model Schools as references.
In their various remarks, the school principals promised unalloyed support for the APC candidate, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
They also appealed to the governor to provide bus to the association to enable them run the affairs of the body smoothly.
High point of the meeting was the call received from Governor Yahaya Bello, assuring the school principals of more dividends of democracy. The governor thanked them for their support for the new Direction Team and charges them to key into Continuity and Consolidations Agenda.
The meeting has in attendance the APC Zonal chairman, Hon. Salihu Mauzu, Hon. Mohammed Tinko and other APC stalwarts in Kogi central.
Ametuo reveled that he would be interfacing with LGAs NULGE Chairmen, and their Secretaries in Kogi Central within the week to chart a way forward.
